Title: Lead me Lord
This song has been part of my life a year ago. When I was still young I used to hear this song but I do not listen to it because at the time its not that "IN" if you know what I mean youngster song blah you get the point hehe... but a year ago, I was able to understand its meaning and starting that day I cherished this song. Everytime I hear this song, makes me weak and wanna cry. Actually 3 years ago I do not go to church I hated going to church everytime my mother asked me every sunday to go to church I refuse.
why you might ask, because before I was so down and depressed I blamed god for the things that happened 3 years ago. before I thought that the meaning "Everything Happens for a Reason" is just a bluff, that its just a made up word just so you can believe somthing. so I stopped believing god, and I made a conclusion that if god is real this wouldn't have happened. that's the time I stopped going to church. during that time instead of going to church I would play games on the computer or pretend that I was asleep so my mother would stop nagging at me to go to church.
so the time realization struck me was the time when I was forced to go with my mother and sister along with my little cousin, to calvary hill it was holy week so for christians we climb the calvary hill and pray per stations.

at the top of the hill you will see a big statue of jesus its like a you are fullfilled when you reach the end of the station that is the First time I felt this sensation that I was Fullfilled for the first time when I reached the last station. I used to come here before but I never felt this way.
Last Station, Calvary hill in Tacloban
It is said that once you completed all the stations and reached the last station if you toss a coin inside and make a wish, It shall be granted. my mother gave me a coin and I tossed it inside and yes one of my wishes was granted this year. It ended sad but still I was able to see her again and talked with her for the last time. for me it was Faith that let my wish come true. Jesus does not do all the work we also need to move our feet inorder that we my be guided.
After Calvary Hill, we went to Liceo De Verbo Church I don't know if its the right name. their my mother, sister, little cousin and I prayed for another 14 stations. then after that my mother told me that their is a big Mama Mary Statue at the back of this church which grants wishes. when we arrived at the statue the first thing that I noticed was the big rosary and it reminded me of the the rosary that Syril gave me when she said yes to me unfortunately I lost that rosary. so I Prayed and wished and still yes that wish has been granted this year and Im really happy that it did.
This year was a full of realisation, maybe that time god was using my mother as a vessel to let me know how important life is, that without god we are nothing. after that many things happened, many realisation, I was able to asses my mistakes on what happened 3 years ago and I was able to change my life because of god.
And im also greatful to that one person who thought me how to love and cherish god to be the center of our being, to be the center of our life, and in our everyday work. for the past 3 years god had thought me the value of life and a lesson that I will never forget. That lesson will be forever be engraved in my heart so I will not be making the same mistakes over again. if god would grant me one wish. I'd ask I wish I was back to the day before I lost the only girl I really love.
